I've been using Black Diamond crampon bags for decades and the mesh side always seems to leak water and get poked through. This bag is much better, also slightly larger so much easier to throw your crampons in and go when you have to switch back and forth over mixed terrain. Highly recommended.

This little bag is great. Hold my crampons as well as my micro spikes. The added 5 oz is worth it. Now I don't have to worry about my crampons damaging anything in or outside my pack.

What can I say? It’s a crampon case. Holds up well. Wish there were more straps. Nice quality zipper.
