I use these under my Ikea Lagkapten desk surface. I thought they might struggle being screwed into (basically) cardboard, but they are ok. I used the screws provided and the velcro ties are a nice addition too.They seem pretty sturdy given the weak mounting place under the desk that I have. I have a set from two years ago still there, and now added another set on my other desk.
