A very dear friend from out of town came to visit us with his wonderful new girlfriend. She was wearing this elegant wool "shawl" nearly every day, which turned out to be a meditation blanket. My wife borrowed it for a couple meditation session and liked it so much, I decided to order one for her. My wife uses it consistently, and I have borrowed it a few times when I do my practice.It's not quite a shawl, and not quite a poncho. The blanket has a unique and thoughtful design. It's light weight and hangs comfortably over the shoulders, and can also be wrapped around the waste to keep the kidneys warm during longer sessions. It also folds up nicely.Sometimes we stow it away with meditation gear, and sometimes we hang it over our reading chair arm, to have on hand. It's really become a part of the family.The Still and Steady meditation blanket is remarkably well made. The wool is high quality, warm and breathable, and doesn't pill up. Highly recommend!
