Nicely made wooden chess pieces - rosewood and boxwood. Box/board seems well put together. Details good for the size of the set.It's not going to set the world alight, but for less than 1000 rupees it's a very good value set and makes a useful travel accessory or gift.

Perfect size for the campervan or motorhome and for family fun while on-the-road or when parked up! Nice looking handmade wood pieces and beautiful folding wood board, compact size and smooth finish everywhere. The magnet strength could preferably be just a little bit stronger, but it still holds the pieces in place even when the board is tilted, so no real issues. Also, extra Queens would have been a nice addition - ah well. Overall, great value for the price - 5 stars! I’ve seen similar sets being sold for a whole lot more online. Get one for your collection! So much nicer to look at and play with than a cheap plastic set …

Great chess set. Very small as I wanted. The box is made of a quite solid wood piece (surprisingly heavy). It has a distinct smell of wood, not bad though. The pieces are well made and detailed despite the small size. All pieces fit nicely in the box interior, it holds them firmly. The magnets are not super strong, but they are good enough to keep the pieces in place. The box closes nicely and it feels solid. The pieces are small but they are still playable and the board fits anywhere. We played on the couch on top of a pillow placed between us.I loved it!
