If you are looking for a quality separatory funnel for the price of a mediocre one, Stony Lab wins hands down! The stopper is precision and when turned upside down for a breather, it stays on without holding it. There are clips for this purpose and wouldn't advise it with anything but blue water.Stony Lab has an extensive line of laboratory grade glass and borosilicate extraction, distillation, test tubes, funnels, sieves/filters and flasks. This is a line that I would spend a little money on for an investment. I just ordered the lab stand to go with the separatory funnel.The distributor, J & D Tech, was very professional and was genuinely concerned about my satisfaction with the funnel. I let them know that they will be seeing several more orders for more gear, now that I found a reasonable price for a stellar product! Came quick was perfect. If you don’t have a stand for it, it will break so you need to be very careful with it if you don’t have anywhere to send it when it’s full of liquid! But other than that as described, and would buy again,, probably will buy again since I broke the first one.
