This is an excellent threshold. Keeps the rain, wind and noise out. I had to cut the rubber to make it fit as I didn't want to take any of the wood of the door off. Important to use your own screws. Unfortunately one of the screws broke and it took a long time to get it out. They should provide better screws. The threshold itself is made of quality materials. I had to cut with a hacksaw to fit, this was a simple job and took just a few minutes to do by hand. Nice gold colour looks great with my door and compliments the silver-coloured rain deflector.

I knew that I'd have to modify its width as well as its length to fit under the door, I also fed a length of 5mm rope under the rubber seal to raise the seal by 5mm, ensuring no an air / draught under the door.

Exactly what I was looking for. It was fitted to the step within minutes and fits snuggly to the step and against my ramp and there is no problem getting my mobility scooter over it. Only had to take a couple of inches off the width which was easily done with a hacksaw. It keeps the rain and wind out as well which was my main reason for choosing this item, the sill on the door was gone so rain kept coming in under it, no longer a problem. Would recommend.
