I'm using some Lego lessons in my math class and needed some base plates. Normally I'd want to go with Lego, but their prices are absurd for this purpose. These plates fit well and the price is great! Plus, I got the rainbow colors which are much more fun for class than the standard green/blue/gray.My order did arrive damaged as it was packed in those flimsy Amazon plastic envelopes (no idea if that's what you call them). When I asked for a replacement, I suggested that they should be sent in a box and I was pleased to see that they were! So it seems like their customer service is good even though I didn't interact with them directly.

The pricing on these is comparable to other off brands from other websites, but the quality is better in some ways, worse in others.It's better because the mold imperfections, marks, blemishes, that sort of thing. For me, this doesn't matter because these are going on the bottom of MILS as a cheaper alternative to the name-brand base plates.It's worse, because they ship with a bend. I used a couple to swap out two smaller plates (due to how well they are reviewed), and they bow upon the sides, so either QC has gone down, the way they are shipped/stored is causing problems, or some combination of the two. I did clamp them for 24 hours, and though the bow was less pronounced, it still occurred when using as a MILS base. It's possible the size of the plates also contributes to this problem. Time will tell.EDIT:Upon further inspection, I think these plates are actually undersized, which is causing them to bow. I have lowered my review score and will continue to see if they can be straightened, but they appear to remain flat with no LEGO bricks on top, and only begin to bend when LEGO are place upon them. If this is the case, it is a critical design flaw.

I bought the baseplate pack to display my Lego Collectible Minifigure Series on. Wow, what a genuinely great product and my minifigures look amazing and displayed on a baseplate at 50% cheaper than the leading brand. I will be continuing to buy this product in the future.
