Acheter pour ma chienne (45Kg race berger d'anatolie) j'ai pris la plus grande taille.J'avais peur qu'il ne lui soit pas possible de l'enfiler comme la partie du cou ne se détache pas mais aucun problème ! Il lui va comme un gant.J'avais également vue que certains chien avait peur quand ont leur passer la tête dedans, la mienne c'est un peut agité mais c'est finalement laissé faire la aussi R.A.SPour le moment j'ai testé sans le remplir il est parfait s'ajuste bien et la petite lanière devant qui se resserre au niveau du poitrail est un plus pour ajuster le haut.Je mettrais ce commentaire à jour avec photo quand je lui aurais enfilé remplis 😉Et je vous dirais au passage si cela rafraîchi vraiment bien !

Item arrived 10 days late. Packaging looked like it had been opened but product looks unused. Vest is pretty heavy when full so we're training up with a small amount of water right now.We haven't tried it outside yet but inside my house is hot and I can feel the difference. She is significantly cooler under the vest. I'm not a fan of the straps, vest slips to the side. Overall a good item. Does what it's supposed to. Will update again if anything notable happens after longer use.

Ich hatte letzten Sommer eine Weste die man außen nass machen musste. Die funktioniert auch gut aber es ist doch auch umständlich immer genug wasser dabei zu haben. Deshalb wollte ich trotz des preises diese dry weste ausprobieren. Ich habe sie in xs gekauft. Leider war sie am hals doch etwas zu eng um sie bequem über den kopf zu ziehen deshalb habe ich nach dem ersten anprobieren das stück stoff am hals eingeschnitten. Jetzt klappt das an und ausziehen besser. Ansonsten sitzt sie gut. Größer wäre für den kleinen Hund glaube ich doof gewesen. Denn die fäche der weste die am körper anliegt reicht so vollkommen.Sie wirkt etwas steif und plastik mäßig... weshalb ein guter sitz wichtig ist... denn sonst würde das material die bewegung einschränken.In die xs weste passen 100ml wasser rein und schon nach ein paar sekunden spürt man wie die weste innen kühl wird! Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet!Keine ahnung wie... aber es scheint zu funktionieren.Ob sie wirklich bis zu drei tage kühl bleibt werde ich noch austesten müssen.Was ich aber wirklich doof finde ist das ein ring für die leine fehlt... oder ein schlitz am rücken damit man das geschirr drunter ziehen kann. Mein Hund kann nämlich leider kein Halsband tragen (medizinische gründe)Muss mir also noch was einfallen lassen wie ich ihn anleinen kann mit der weste an... sie ist ja für spaziergänge gedacht 😅

I bought this for my Irish setter puppy (although we waited until she was nearly fully grown to buy as it is quite expensive). I bought it because it is a dry cooler suit I didn’t want her needlessly getting wet. You fill the suit with water, drain the excess and clip it to the dog, the underside is cool. We’ve only used once on a particularly hot day, we also only put it on her once she was already hot. She has dark red fur that gets really hot. This reflects the heat and sun away from her pale skin underneath. It wasn’t enough to stop her panting but it definitely made a difference. When I put my hand under it I could feel her fur was cooling down to a more normal temperature. Don’t use it in the car. The suit needs the sun and wind to draw the water out and cool the dog down. I’ve knocked off one star purely because I was expecting a more immediate effect.

We moved to MO last year & this was our first full summer here. Rosco was raised in the high mountains of CO from the time he was 8 weeks old (he's now 2 years old) so this intense heat + humidity combo was rough for him. MO has some super high humidity days (90-100%) so I wasn't sure how well any cooling vest would work. We decided to bite the financial bullet & give this a try & we have been overall pretty happy with it! There is a learning curve on how to get the most out of it & you have to try it out a number of ways before you get it right.We ordered a Medium. Rosco weights around 50 lbs & is 22 inches at the shoulder. He is a cattle dog/aussie/rottie/german shepard/border collie/rat terrier/huskey super mutt mix. He has a smooth double coat with long black fur. His fur is very thick around his neck & he has a broad chest for his size.This vest definitely saved his butt from overheating several times during the worst of the summer so far. He accompanies me to the farm when I work my horses & sometimes, we get stuck outside longer than I'd like on super hot days if the horses get out or something breaks. This vest isn't "magic" by any means but it allowed him to lay in the shade & maintain a normal pant instead of his excessive over-heating pant he was doing. Keeping him inside was literally torture to him so just him being able to be out there with me saved his psyche & ours!He isn't the biggest fan of the restrictiveness of the vest. He is a herding dog & is very active. He will literally run himself to death just for the thrill of the chase. He does run from us when we are trying to put it on. He knows that it IS cool though as we've taken it off & laid it on the backseat of the car only to see him lay right on top of it. Treats have been the best way to get him to accept the vest. This dog also needs lots of positive reward for any form of grooming so he is a bit on the sensitive side!The vest works when it has airflow so, if you're dog is laying on the vest, it will stop being cool on the part that they are laying on until air can get to it again. Naturally, him being so active, this vest is perfect for him except the shoulder/neck area is just a bit too bulky for a guy with so much fur around his neck like Rosco. A large would have definitely been too big on his body but I just wish the medium allowed for a bit more movement in the shoulder area.Also, he has put the thing through the ringer in just a few months time. He broke one of the clips (we jerry-rigged it back together) & it is no longer the same bright silver color no matter how many times you wash it. It still does the job & we decided if it only lasts one summer, it is worth the money to get for him again because it truly kept him safe on those really high heat days. It also helps to keep a lot of the burs from sticking to his fur when he runs through the grass! Overall worth the purchase for a black fluffy dog!
