Very light weight. I gave it to my father (85y.o) and he wouldn’t leave the house without it.Very comfortable.

It's lightweight, but the brim was too squared off, and not wide enough for my liking. I thought the brim would curve a little more to shield the eyes from sunlight coming at a side angle, but it didn't, so I returned it.

I've been wearing plain baseball caps for years as my go-to to do chores in, use for sun protection, and hide my hide hair on those bad hair days. But those caps always get dirty quickly and fade easily. The Sunday Afternoons Ultra Trail Cap is my new fav hat. It is made of 88% Nylon and12% Polyester so it won't fade and it sheds the dirt. It washes well and holds it shape. I was afraid it would be too large but it's adjustable and it fits just right on my small head. And I love the color and design. There is a spot to slide my sunglasses in and it has reflective trim. I can also pull my hair thru the back. Love it!

This hat is very lightweight and I liked the color a lot. It seems like it would be good for backpacking, especially with the sun protection, which was what I needed it for. However, I just didn't like the way it looked on me. My regular baseball hats look a lot better - I think it's the size or shape of the brim. Back it went. Amazon had marked this as an item that is frequently returned and I should have trusted that.

This hat is so light that I sometimes forget I am wearing it. It ventilates so it is very practical for the desert where I wear mine.
