We make sourdough regularly and these have been FANTASTIC. We use them every time now.There's so much said in the reviews already, so go check them out, but for less than 15 quid these were a steal.

I like to make small to medium sized sourdough loaves in a large caserole pot, what you might also see called a dutch oven. I preheat it until as hot as my oven can get, and it always spooks me to lower the gentle dough in when its so hot and deep. These silicone sheets are thin enough to allow good heat transfer and long enough to allow good control and careful lowering. I've used them about 10 times now and been very happy. I wouldn't say there is a lot of range of size in this set, but its nice to have them all just to get all the options covered.

I ordered these silicone bread slings to make bread and other baked goods on. The set comes with two 21cm round ones and a 24cm round one.I already have 21cm bread slings, but I ordered this pack for thr 24cm one. It is nice to have a bigger size.Both sizes can also be used in other pans with foods that might be difficult it get out. You can use them for meat, cakes and pizzas etc. The pizzas would have to to be small sized ones though.You can use these silicone bread slings to knead on too and also in proofing baskets.The quality of both of them seems decent.They have measurements on them so you can measure your dough on them. They also have conversion tables on them, but I find it hard to read the fonts on them. The writing needs to be bolder or in a different colour.They are dishwasher safe but easy to wash by hand.So far I'm happy with the bread slings, apart from the fonts. 🍞

I bake my own sourdough and usually use greaseproof paper at the bottom of my dutch oven to not have the bread stick but these silicone bread slings looks brilliant so thought I'd try them to stop having to use and dispose of greaseproof paper and have something that's reusable. In this set you get three slings which are two different sizes, 24cm and 21cm. They are lightweight and when using one for the first time, it fit my dutch oven really well and moulded into it which is just what I expected. It didn't stick and the baked sourdough was easy to get out by using the slings on each side. Easy to clean and seem well made, very happy with this set.

These are a great shape and size for a dutch owen and would make lefting in/out the bread very much easier, especially if you Dutch Oven cannot be inverted so the (shallow) lid is the base.An alternative to baking paper.they are very well made, BUT they are much thicker than I imagined. They are very silicone feeling with the fibre in the middle, strong, and you get 2 medium sized (perfect fit for a round 4.6L / 11" dutch oven) and one large for bigger ones. Its a shame one medium isnt a Batard shape though.But my main hestitation with this is two fold. The silicone is very thick and will insulate the bread against the hot base of the ducth oven.And that is states it has fibreglass inside it. If that every leaks out it would be dangerous imo.I have some similar idea baking sheets that are re-usable, also silicone, but they are very thin, so the base is not that affected. I will have to test more and update as required, but I wish these had been almost baking paper thin like my other ones.
