I bought a pair of these for my trail shoes and loved them so much I purchased more for my waterproof trail runners. Fit is good and they support the arch andcup the heel well. They are not 'spongy' so if you are looking for cushioning you may want somethong else. A bit pricey. I have done a three day hike carrying a pack and lots of day walks and they are great but I have only had them about two months so will have to see about durability.

I put these in a pair of Altra Lone Peak 6 trail shoes during a long distance hike in western NC which consisted of rocky, root-filled and steep trails. In the past, the bottoms of my feet were always sore after a long hike, largely due to stepping on roots and rocks for miles and miles along the trail. I can honestly say these inserts did wonders for my feet on my last hike and made a huge difference at the end of a long day of hiking. My feet were no longer throbbing and I didn’t feel every single root while hiking with these in my shoes. The foam inserts that come standard in trail shoes just don’t cut it when it comes to long distance hikes- highly recommend getting a pair of these for your next long distance hike. Just wish they weren’t so expensive, but it was worth saving my aching feet in the end.

They improved the comfort of my hiking shoes that weren't very good for the downhill parts, but only a couple months later the upper layer is starting to torn appart... so definitely too expensive considering the durability of this product.

I find that these suit me really well and give me extra support and comfort in my boots over long miles and rough terrain
