The bag material is thicker than I expected for a bag of this price. The thick material does make it a little stiff at first, but I have no fear of water seeping through the fabric at all. The bag seems like it will hold up exceptionally well and would likely survive even relatively rough handling, though I obviously can't recommend that.I ordered the 15L bag, but in retrospect would probably recommend ordering a larger size. While the 15L bag is not small, the way the bag top rolls down to seal also means that it's easy to compress a larger bag down to a smaller size when it's not entirely full. If I had ordered the 20L size, I would have had the ability to expand when I need the extra space and simply roll the top down a few more times before sealing when I don't. This is by no means a fault of the bag... simply my inexperience with this type of closure and something I didn't think about until after I had ordered.The included backpack straps are also a huge plus. They allow for easy carrying and let me keep my hands free when needed. That said, please remember that this is first and foremost a dry bag and not a backpack. The waterproof nature of the bag means that it doesn't allow the skin under the bag to breath so I'm usually soaked with sweat pretty quickly. The straps also have no padding. Long term carrying of heavy loads is not recommended. If significant backpacking is on the agenda, bring a real backpack and put the dry bag in it. That said, the flexibility and additional functionality offered by the inclusion of the backpack mode easily outweighs any slight discomfort or sweating when using it.Overall, this dry bag has proven to be reliable, durable, and highly functional for all sorts of outdoor activities. It does exactly what it promises — keeps your belongings dry and secure, whether you get stuck in a little bit of rain or your bag falls in the water and gets totally submerged. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a dependable waterproof bag!If over long term use, my feelings change about this product, I will update this review. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.

Really capable bag, lots of room, easy to roll and seal. Keeps my gross gym clothes away from my non gross other stuff. One note: 15L is bigger than you think! You probably don't need this big of a dry sack. I'd probably have gotten a smaller one had I known that.
