The eyepiece is of decent quality and has become a reliable part of my observing setup. I primarily use it for viewing the Moon and planets, where it performs exceptionally well. The variable zoom functionality is particularly handy for planetary observation, allowing me to zoom in for greater detail. While it’s less effective for deep-sky objects—where a wider field of view and maximum light gathering are essential—it still works well for targets like open star clusters. Overall, it’s a frequently used and valuable tool for both planetary viewing and general stargazing. I'm using it with a Bresser AR-102/1000 telescope.

Just get one, you won't regret it.I had to send back the first one as it arrived defect, but with the seller and Amazon this is not a problem.Returned and got a new one.It's a nice zoom, a use it a lot.

Much better than the standard eyepieces that come with your beginner telescope. Great to explore the limits of your equipment and personal preference. Even with a 2x Barlow the image quality is much better than I expected. I have no doubt that more expensive eyepieces are better, but you don't want to spend more on eyepieces than on your telescope :-).

Bought this to save swapping out eyepieces all the time. The focal range is great, the image is clear and it's very comfortable on the eye when viewing. I think it's exceptional value for the quality of the build and image through the eyepiece, and I'm finding this is my go-to eyepiece at the moment because it's so convenient.Well worth the money.

Sympatyczny maluch. Oczywiście jak każdy zoom zabiera trochę światła, ale poza tym optycznie jest co najmniej dobry, a biorąc pod uwagę cenę, nawet bardzo dobry. Lubię w nim płynną, a nie skokową zmianę powiększenia, dobrze dobrany - ani za mały, ani za duży - opór "potencjometru", całkiem spore pole widzenia i dobrą ostrość (najlepsza przy ogniskowej circa 16 mm), mechaniczną precyzję, no i to, co w każdym zoomie - brak konieczności zmiany okularów.

This is a really great eyepiece despite its comparatively low price...makes me question the value of my $400 eyepieces, especially when you combine it with a 2x Barlow companion.I recommend using this eyepiece for quick observations, when touring the night sky with guests, or for use at public star parties. It's also an effective gift for friends and family who are just getting into the astronomy hobby.

I used this zoom lens all the time, Finding objects at low mag, then zooming into high mag to look closely at the details. Way easier than changing a lens and losing the object. However, the zoom is a bit tight, and I find best to hold stationary with one hand while turning the zoom with the other.
