works as expected

Right away we could feel that this stapler is not as well-made as well as previous ones. We have used 4 of these staplers to attach header tags to small plastic bags. We require an electric stapler that has an adjustable depth as we need to staple one inch from edge - not a 1/4 inch. The guide for depth does not stay in place, so we have taped it in place. It misfires frequently. But I can't find another electric stapler that has this adjustable depth feature, so we will just use this one until it dies.If you don't need this adjustable feature, I'd buy another brand.

It stop working after 2 weeks.

For ten years I have been an unhappy purchaser of various semi expensive manual staplers to include Swingline. I purchased this stapler after seeing a similar model used in a store and asking them how it held up. They said they use it for every customer and that it had been working for several years. I purchased the 20 sheet model as I seldom staple more than 20 at a time. I only wish that I had purchased this or a similar model years ago.I use it with the batteries as I need to move it around on occasion. The batteries have held up well and the stapler itself has not not malfunctioned once. I have been using the Optima staples which may have negated problems with lesser quality staples. The stapler saves me time and aggravation as the manual staplers always had some sort of glitch that prevented them from cycling properly. I had far more malfunctions with the manual Swingline staplers; this one for me. is dead reliable. It was a bit of a surprise to me that this stapler with the Optima staplers will go through 26-27 pages without any issues.

This stapler works great, it's just about twice the size of my previous stapler. It's nice that it has a regular staple remover in the back, you don't have to did around trying to find where you left it. It works either in automatic or in an auto manual mode where you give it a slight press when you have the paper where you want it and it will then staple. I think it is a nice option. The only part of this stapler that I wasn't happy with is that it is a lot bigger than my previous one. The pictures make it seem as slim as the S7048200A, which I had before, however it is much wider. So far it has performed flawless and it has a much longer warranty that my previous stapler did as well.
