A few points to consider on these buckles: These are lightweight and are presented as such. Don't expect to use them to make a weightlifter's belt or a collar for that unruly pit bull and have that turn out well. Used as decorative or lightweight use, they're well made, look good and up to the task. Also, they work best for uses where the tension on the buckle is constant. When the strap goes slack, these have a tendency to slip a little, and over time may completely unbuckle. A plus for them is that since they require no holes in the strap for a tongue, they can be positioned anywhere as needed. Adjustment isn't based on this hole or that hole.
