Werkte zodra de zon scheen en de batterij hield het ook nog even vol na zonsondergang. Tevreden totdat ie stopte met werken. Hij is onder water dus pinnen detecteren water. Filtertje is schoon. Had volle zon. Maar doet niks meer. Connector ook schoon en goed verbonden. Kabel ook goed. Alles in hars gegoten dus kan niets zien van schakeling.

I had a floating solar fountain for a few years. It worked pretty well sometimes, but I had to keep it in direct sunlight and with water flowing over the solar panels constantly, mineral deposits gradually build up and decrease the function. I scrubbed it with a brush sometimes, but that might scratch or damage the solar panels if I scrub hard enough to remove all the mineral deposits. I had to move my bird bath to try to find places where it looked good, and I could see it from inside the house, and the birds could find it and enjoy it. Usually it was in shade a lot of the day. Leaves and other debris fell into the water and onto the solar panel. I want to put the floating fountain in a sunnier place, because it still works if i remember to clean and maintain it. I wanted a nice looking easy to use fountain right near my front window where I can enjoy it every day and see birds enjoying it. I wanted a solar panel that did not need to be in exactly the same place as the fountain. I figured lights at night might be good if I kept them near the front door. Birds don't need lights on their fountain, but a little light at night for people is OK, especially if i put it under a roof. I got the white light mostly because it costs a little less. It might be a little better than colorful lights if i want to keep it simple or if it provides enough light so I can see the garden and porch area a little better when the porch light doesn't work well. We have a motion detecting porch light, but it seems like it doesn't see a short person on the porch as well as it sees a car driving by. I like colorful lights, but if i get colored lights I might want to upgrade to one with a remote control to adjust the light show according to seasons, holidays, moods, etc.I thought I would put the solar panel on the edge of the roof, because it seemed like I could catch the most sunlight for the most hours each day that way. I still might try that, but I didn't have a ladder in place when I moved my bird bath and set up my new fountain. It was easy to put the stake in the ground near my date palm, where there is light mostly in the afternoon and evening. the electrical corn is mostly hidden behind plants between the solar panel and the fountain. I put a rock on top of the wire where it connects to the fountain. this helps disguise the equipment and helps keep the fountain in place, while giving any tiny feathered guests something to stand on if they want it.The fountain is almost always running when I see it. It splashes water highest when the sun shines directly on the solar panel at the right angle in the late afternoon or early evening. I have it facing northwest and angled up a little. I think it's closer to vertical than horizontal. I can easily move and adjust it, but works well enough as is. Mom has told me that the lights go off before the sun comes up, but I don't usually see it that early. I might try to make it make more water sound in the early morning so birds are more likely to be attracted to it at that time of day, but I think they will find it anyway if they really want it. I have not seen them use it much yet since I moved it and put the new fountain in it. Maybe they preferred it in the more open and exposed places. Maybe I will notice a difference with fall migration. It will probably help if i put food out again. I still want to rearrange plants and do some other garden work in the area too.I think if the water is moving at least part of every day it will prevent mosquitos from from growing up in the water. Moving water sounds attract birds. Moving water helps the water stay fresh and clean, but I still need to at least add water more than once a week. I haven't been dumping and scrubbing the bird bath as much as I just add water, because I don't have as much debris falling into it from trees above.I like the automatic shut off feature that prevents the pump from trying to work when the water is too low, but I try not to let it get that low anyway.

Have not used it yet, but the quality is much better than I expected. Glass panel a plus over plastic that succumbs to sunlight. Motor has a place to hold filters (4 included) Readable instructions.

I've had this fountain for a month now. It was super easy to set up and worked right away. The battery keeps it going after the sun goes down (with pretty little LED lights, I went for the all-white ones), even into the morning. It doesn't spray quite as high on battery as when the sun is shining, but that's ok. All in all, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Un ottimo prodotto che funziona alla perfezione. Il pannello solare è resistente e performante permettendo alla fontana di funzionare dalle prime luci dell'alba fino a notte fonda. Non me lo aspettavo. Lo consiglio vivamente!
