TABASCO® Scorpion Sauce 60ml FBA

Il tabasco è già una botta di vita, quello all'habanero è un pugno, questo è davvero molto forte, per amanti del piccante estremo.

I use Tabasco twice a day, on breakfast and lunch. I prefer the Habanero ('hot') one, because it's actually hot (unlike the standard), and the sauce is thick instead of runny, and isn't vinegary. It is in every way superior to the basic one. This Scorpion edition hits the same marks, and is noticeably hotter. It has quite a bright, fruity tasty to it, due to the guava and pineapple. For me, breakfast is always bacon and eggs cooked in lard and covered in salt (I am on a ketogenic diet), so the fat content is very high and this tames the chilli somewhat. But four or five good splashes of this stuff will give you a nice fiery burn which will last a little while afterwards. The price, however, is prohibitive for me. At £10 including p&p, I'm glad I tried it, but I'm unlikely to reorder it. I get the Habanero edition for £2.10 currently at Tesco. I wouldn't consider the Scorpion as a regular even if it were half its price. I know that it's supposed to be a special edition, available only now and then, but I can see it's possible to get regularly or at least get a sufficient supply. But I think I will miss the extra power of the Scorpion though, having got used to it over the last two or three weeks. Definitely pleased I tried it.EDIT: I upgraded it to five stars because a few weeks later I've come to appreciate how much hotter it was than the Habanero one I am used to. I go through the Habanero bottles quickly now, because I'm putting so much more on just to get some kind of burn. I had thought the Scorpion was def hotter but not that much, but that appears to be incorrect!

Parece una competición… ver hasta donde puede soportar el picante de una salsa. Pero esta salta está llena de sabor y es increíble. Aunque el picante, hay que reconocerlo, es insoportable.
