J'ai longtemps hésité avant de passer à l'achat car je trouvais cela pénible d'avoir à changer le pneu juste pour faire du home trainer.Après avoir utilisé mon pneu normal sur une dizaine de session (Continental Grand Prix), j'ai vite compris que mon pneu s’abîmait très vite.J'ai donc pris ce pneu que j'ai monté sur une deuxième roue que je réserve désormais au home trainer et c'est parfait !1- l'adhérence est excellente et c'est beaucoup plus fluide2- le bruit est nettement diminué (j'ai mis un tapis anti vibration + un tapis de gym sous le home trainer et toujours pas de plainte de mes voisins d'en dessous :-) )3- le pneu n'a pas l'air de s'abimer et je pense qu'il durera longtemps...

I used to use my old worn out tires on the I-Magic and wear them into oblivion to get everything but the oink out of them. However, they would slip and get bald spots and ride unevenly pretty fast and it made riding on the trainer less than stellar.I figured I would give the Tacx tire a chance, and it is much much better than the old tire discards. It is really grippy and yet durable, doesn't run hot, gives excellent traction and is more quiet. It rides with a lower frequency hum and gives a more 'road-like' feel because it's not slipping at all.I can't recommend the I-Magic (Fortius or the old one) from Tacx strongly enough, and this tire is a good one for those VR trainers.UPDATE 8/10/11I've done many many miles on the trainer, and the tire just failed tonight. I think this is a lot of miles for the one tire, and shows it is as good as I espected or better. The current Amazon price of just over $30 is much better than the price I paid from Niagara cycle works when I got the first one. Definitely a great tire for indoor use on the trainer!

Vorab:Ich fahre den Trainingsreifen (700C, 28“) in Kombination mit einem Specialized Venge (Rennrad) auf recht günstigen Aluminium-Felgen (Zweitsatz) und dem Tacx Flow Smart.Montage:Mit Reifenhebern sehr einfach. Der Reifen ist recht weich und dehnbar, das macht verringert die Anstrengung beim Hebeln. Das letzte Stück erfordert (wie bei allen gängigen Mänteln) etwas Übung, sollte aber auch einen blutigen Anfänger nicht vor allzu große Herausforderungen stellen.(Kurzes Off-Topic: Wenn es das erste Mal ist, solltet ihr euch ein ein kurzes Video zur Montage anschauen, wichtig ist, den Schlauch nach dem Einlegen etwas mit Luft zu füllen, sonst besteht eine hohe Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass ihr den Schlauch zwischen Mantel und Felge einklemmt und dann: pffffffffffffff.....)Fahrbetrieb:- Deutlich geschmeidiger und leiser als mit regulärer Bereifung! Der geringere Widerstand ist durchaus wahrnehmbar und angenehm. Fahrgefühl ist „smooth“- kein nerviger Abrieb des Reifens- deutlich geringere Wärmeentwicklung am Reifen- Geräuschpegel geringer als mit regulärer Bereifung(wobei der meiste Lärm vom Trainer und dessen Vibration über den Boden ausgeht....)Fazit:Gut investiertes Geld! Wer nicht gleich massig Geld in einen Trainer mit Direktaufnahme investieren will, der wird ggf. mit einem zweiten Laufrad (Hinterrad) und diesem Trainingsreifen glücklich. Für Trainerbetrieb in diesem Setup quasi ein Muss, reguläre Reifen halten vllt. eine Woche, danach ist das Gummi runter ;-)

Io ho acquistato il modello per ruote da bicicletta da strada: 23-622 (700x23).Design=====Dopo 3 anni di utilizzo ho dovuto cambiare il vecchio copertoncino dello tesso tipo che si stava cominciando ad usurare. Il copertoncino è ben fatto ed il colore azzurro lo rende accattivante anche dal punto di vista estetico. Le scritte bianche sui fianchi della gomma sono chiare e ben visibili.Prestazioni ed utilizzo================Lo utilizzo su un rullo Tacx ma alla fine le caratteristiche della mescola fanno si di ottimizzare le prestazioni su qualsiasi rullo della medesima tipologia (a contatto e non trasmissione diretta). A mio avviso si tratta di un acquisto indispensabile se si ha intenzione di passare diverse ore sui rulli nei mesi invernali. Il feeling e la sensazione della pendenza migliora sensibilmente così come la durata. L'usura su un copertoncino standard è davvero molto più accentuata.Consiglio questo oggetto?===================Un investimento di poca entità che ritengo indispensabile a chi usa molto allenarsi indoor nel periodo freddo.
