Rigamonti Table Grater: I've had one of these for ages, and have just bought another two as presents (they're slightly different in detail from my old one). It's really good for hard (grating) cheese. I keep it in the fridge with cheese in, rather than emptying and cleaning it after every use. I don't use it for softer cheese, such as cheddar; when I tried I didn't use it up quickly enough and it went mouldy. I both grate a fair amount at a time for some purpose, and put the grater on the table for people to use. With the shutter at the bottom closed the grated cheese collects inside; with the shutter open it falls out as it's grated, both useful ways. Disassembly and cleaning is easy enough.

The quality is solid, but there is still some cheese left which cant be ground, there are areas of improvement as the lock is sliding during the grinding operation, and the cheese slot is opened from the top which will dry the cheese if you leave it inside, and other small stuff that can be improved
