I liked elastic band so the waist fits perfectly, and the pockets. They’re invisible but deep and my phone can barely be spotted. I didn’t like the length - a couple cm too long, gives a Catholic school girl look. It’s a matter of taste though and can easily be fixed on my side. I do struggle with a slightly faulty zipper - it requires some time and dedication to zip it whether you’re wearing the skirt or not, but I’ve been winning the fight so far, so it’s not that bad 😊

I wear these daily. I'm chubby. They fit. I feel pretty. I don't need to iron them. I just spray them with water and hang them up to dry, neatening them up while they're wet. They're comfy, thick enough but not heavy. I'm in Queensland, Australia where it's permanently Summer, except when it's not. It's good for this environment. I can air out my insides while feeling modest. I also pair it with the Grace Karin cardigans and boleros. It suits my busty shape, pregnant-like belly and flat butt. It gives me the curves while hiding my chonky. Just tuck in a t-shirt, pop on some flats and a cropped jacket and you're good to go!

This skirt is one of my favorite Amazon purchases in years! I like it so much I immediately purchased it in the navy color, too, and am contemplating some other colors.Pros:- Very flattering shape- Glamorous vintage look that is really wearable and doesn't look costume-y.- The skirt fabric has a bit of stretch (5% spandex) AND the waistband itself has elastic, so it's very comfortable fit- Launders well. I've washed it in the washing machine on the normal cycle (water = warm) and then air-dried it a couple of times now, and it has held up very well and hasn't visibly shrunk or lost its shape.- It has pockets! Very convenient.- Very comfortable and breathable in hot weather (95% cotton). Absolutely perfect for summer.- Despite being cotton and light enough for hot weather, it's opaque - it's not* transparent in sunlight or anything like that.- Very affordable price point for such a great skirt! Great value for the money.- I've literally had strangers stop their cars, compliment my skirt, and ask me where I got it.Cons:- As is true of most cotton skirts, this does require ironing to look its best after laundering. The skirt has pleats, so the ironing also takes a little care, if you're looking to recreate and preserve the pleats.- The pockets could be a little deeper, particularly given that there's plenty of room for extra fabric. I have a smaller iPhone, and I could fit my phone without having it fall out, but if I had a larger one I think I'd feel like I needed to watch the pocket to make sure my phone didn't come out.Something to know:- I completely agree with the other reviewers that it's best to size down. My waist is ~28 inches and according to the size guide, that would make me a medium, but I found that the size small fit perfectly. I have two of these skirts, and one of them is even just very slightly loose as a size S.
