Tangle, Therapy Relax, Brain Teaser Fidget Toy

The Relax was the first Tangle I bought, and I just replaced it. I also own a Jr. Textured and a Jr. Chrome. I'm going to compare it to the Tangle Jr. Textured.This Tangle is not as durable as the Jr. It's got a rubbery surface, so I knew it wouldn't last forever. I got about 8 months out of mine, but how long it depends on how much you use it. By the end, the bumps had worn off and it looked permanently dirty. It's not as easy to keep clean, and it's not ideal to take everywhere.I used dish soap and water to clean it, but after I bought a replacement, I experimented with different ways of cleaning it. I wouldn't recommend using alcohol based solutions to clean them, it seemed to degrade the surface. It's hard to tell, however, since it was old when I tried cleaning it. Other types of cleaners did the same job or worse than dish soap. I felt dish soap cleaned a bit better than regular soap, but that might have lead to it degrading a bit faster. Lastly, I threw it in the dishwasher (it's not labeled dishwasher safe, I was just curious). That pretty much killed it. The bumps all disappeared and the surface got a sticky, gross feel to it. some of the rubber was so badly damaged, it peeled off easily. The inner skeleton is pretty nifty, so if you have an old Relax, you might want to dissect it.This Tangle is floppy. The Jr stays posed. For me, it's not a plus or minus in either direction, it's just a notable difference.This Tangle matches the pictures and will lay flat. The Relax comes with exactly 20 pieces, and you can put it in shapes that lay perfectly flat. My Jr Textured and Chrome both have 18, so they will always lay with a bit of a curve. There's also a perfectly even number of colours. The only different peice is a smooth piece that says Tangle on it. My first one didn't have that, but this new one does.If you buy this and find it's really helpful, I do recommend buying a "backup" right away. They can break, and it can be easy to put off ordering a new one until well after the old one should be put in the trash.Overall, I love these things. They've been very helpful in dealing with anxiety and stress. I also use them to strengthen my fingers (I play an instrument), and it helps with that too. I would also add that these aren't just for people who have mental health or hand issues, people like to play with my Tangle all the time, and it can be hard convincing them to give it back.

Tacto gomoso, se dobla, pliega bien, de manera suave, es difícil describir este producto. Pero nos gusta!

Been using it nearly every day since I bought it. Helps me not bite my nails because it keeps my hands busy. Very fun to just move around.
