Good kit best for fine work it's like wet and dry sand paper not like a 20 grit paper, for fine work it's grate but for filing a bigger plugsocket hole in a tile, will take a lot of time.

I think these are great and fairly durable but I don’t have any other Diamond files to compare them to. I tried filing down a small rock and after a minute or so of filing it had made a good dent in the rock and tons of rock dust but I do think if you kept using it on rocks it would quickly wear down. I’m just using it to sharpen tools anyways so I’m not too worried.

My husband absolutely loves this set. He hasn't used them yet but loves the durability and quality of these files. Love loves the handles, the ones he'd used had no handles so they'll be much easier to use! What a great value.

Dies what it says, just disappointed that it didn't come with a Triangle file to go with this set!
