Het wordt intensief
Voicetone X1 biedt een moderne "down 'n' dirty" kwaliteit voor live-zang met knetterende mega's en versterkte stemvervormingseffecten. Voer met deze geluiden een woord, een set of een compleet liedje in. De drive- en filterbesturing kunnen zo worden ingesteld dat ze zich aan je stem en je lied kunnen aanpassen. Laat het hem, je hebt de controle.

• Sluit je microfoon aan, sluit je pedaal aan op de mixer en stel de winst in.
• Activeer het effect.
• Dat is alles.
Natuurlijk kun je altijd de stijl of de correctiehoeveelheid wijzigen, maar je moet de handleiding niet meer nodig hebben, tenzij je een vuur maakt.
Inknikken.
Je kunt de Voicetone X1 op alle andere voicetone singles aansluiten door effecten te mengen en te combineren om je persoonlijke geluid te definiëren. Werkt ook met DITTO MIC LOOPER, het zuivere looppedaal voor zangers en instrumenten. Gebruik de Singles Connect Kit (apart verkrijgbaar) voor het mengen en combineren van maximaal 4 TC Helicon voice-effectpedalen met minder wirwar van kabels dan ooit.

Onder de robuuste metalen gegoten behuizing van Voice-One X1 krijg je dezelfde kwaliteitsafwerking die je van onze iconische VoiceLive verwacht. Je vindt ook een schone en stille microfoonvoorversterker, die concurreert met high-end roterende mixers, evenals de analoge naar digitale omzetting in studiokwaliteit. Er is zelfs een USB-poort voor firmware-updates.

Je kunt de Voicetone X1 volledig via je microfoon aansturen: sluit gewoon een TC HELICON MP-75 microfoon (apart verkrijgbaar) aan. Wij noemen het Mic Control en maken het mogelijk om zowel het podium als het luisterplezier te controleren.

I managed to find this used on Amazon for a pretty big discount but I was actually looking for a new one before I came across that. It looked like the person before me tried it for five minutes, hated it, and sent it back. I hated it for the first five minutes too. Feedback. Gates cutting out. Much more noise than I wanted. And so I persevered and tried all the settings. Hey… two of these are exactly what I was looking for. One might be handy in the future. The rest don’t work for me. So 1/3 of the sounds I find usable. This is ok I’m good with this. Further two of them just aren’t ok they really fit the bill. I’m doing a one man show and I’m a baritone but sometimes I don’t want to sound like Johnny Cash. So.. here we are. It’s lovely. Experiment with this thing and you’ll probably find your sounds too if a distorted and cutting sound is what you’re after. It took a lot of taming to balance the levels out without feedback. Be careful but have fun.

個人練習のスタジオだと普通に使えるんですが、バンドで使うとゲインを下げても足元コレ１つだけでも絶対ノイズまみれになります。ハウリング酷すぎでダメです。VE-20に入ってる歪み系で十分です。

Once you figure out how to use the built in noise gate...it's not bad. The documentation and interface is garbage. So far, for live vocals with a little dirt on them... it seems to work and the sound person doesn't hate as they did with previous solutions :) But, if they gate was easier to set up, was more intuitive and had more options...this would be killer.

This pedal is terrible, so disappointed. Wanted it to give me a raw gritty harmonica sound through my mic. When it ‘worked’, the noise gate would prevent any thing from punching through unless I played relatively loud, so any subtle or soft playing wouldn’t come through at all. As many other reviews state, the feedback threshold is terrible. Squeals like a pig.The effects were pretty cool when the speaker volume is low enough and playing on the mic at moderately high volumes though, however that was short lived. After only a few months the feedback was unstoppable and made it unusable, and after playing with the gain and settings, and powering it on and off a few times, I managed to turn it into a $200 useless blinking brick.If TC helicon has a technical support line, it’s about as easy to find as the phone number to Area 51. I have some experience with some of their other pedals which work quite well, but this one is a steaming pile of garbage, as is their non-existent customer support.I know if you’re looking at this review, you don’t want to hear this... as there are literally very few to zero other options to get this effect you’re looking for, but I highly recommend you save your money.I’ve had better luck running my mic into my cheap mustang 1 guitar multi effect amp at low enough volume that it doesn’t feedback, then mic-ing that into the PA.
