Bough this warily having read some very good and some very bad reviews on the quality & reliability of, particularly, the power supply.I have had mine now for several weeks and has presented no problems so far in repeated use. Early days of course.Not complicated to use once the manual is understood, and mine has not over heated, caught fire, or open-circuited. Pity there's no backlight to see the readouts, but the final charge accepted in mwh for each cell is very handy to see the condition of said cell, and whether it needs further attention.

Pour les charges rapides, fonctionnement normal. Mais pour les charges lentes (200 mAh), ne détecte pas bien la fin de charge et envoie 1700 mAh dans un accu AAA de 800 mAh. Pour "tuer" un accu, il n'y a pas mieux.

After countless attempts to find a new, shinier and bigger (more batteries as 4 is a bit on the low side) I finally took the advice of one of the kids and just bought one more of the same instead. genius. Now I have 8 slots (4+4) without sacrificing any of the performance of this state of the art model.What seems to be a relative simple task, just buy a battery charger. right? Turns out to be a world full of mediocre products. To the point where trusted brands such as Varta sold me a model that ruined (physically ruined) every single battery I tried to charge with it. Many other models I have tried offer "smart" functions that turn out not to be so smart. A typical effect is that batteries are worn down over time and loose effect. A battery that is listed as 2500 mAH quickly reduces its performance to Whenever it happens it is always a good idea to put the batteries on the "Refresh" program in your Technoline. (Or really, the other one I have isn't a techno line as these chargers are sold under a few different brands, always the same thing exactly though including form factor, menus, functions.) After a Erefresh" (taking a day or two of cycling the batteries between full discharged and fully charged) they are generally brought back to their listed capacity. Ofter better. And I am using batteries that are 5-10 years old mostly and that are used all the time for different things in the house.The one minus with this model, and the reason I ever tried to find any other model (except for the limitation of the 4 bays) is the user interface. It takes a bit to learn and is a bit quirky. It works though and the more I use it the more I get it to do what I want. Not for the nervous type though ;-)I have been testing so many different types of chargers so I can safely say that this is the only one in the market that is worth owning.
