I use these sockets professionally everyday as a GM Technician. They are very durable at an affordable price with the same, if not better, warranty as the tool trucks. They’re easy to use with an excellent finish. The sockets grip fasteners well and I have not noticed any tolerance issues with my most used sizes.

Good case, great sockets esp for the money. Really impressed with the quality.

There is no perfect way to store sockets. There just isn't. They either work in the toolbox or they work in the bucket or bag or whatever it is you take along with you, not both. Lids won't stay open. Lids won't stay closed. Lids stay open, but tip the whole case over when you try to set it down that way. Cases don't fit in the drawer with the lid open, so you have to take the whole set out of the drawer when you just want one socket. The other options like socket rails are even worse.And so on and so forth. I had this set for two years before finally noticing the case had actual hinges. This means the lid doesn't care whether it's open or closed--it won't fight you. And more importantly, the hinges have metal pins that can be removed and put back in. So the top can be off in the toolbox and the top can be put back on and go with you. Finally, something that works in the toolbox and out of the toolbox. I had almost given up on the idea.

The smallest of quibbles: the case latches are fragile.

i decided i needed a great set of impact sockets that had thinner walls. i toyed with the idea of getting the set with both deep and shallow but i came to the conclusion that the only reason i needed deep sockets was for lug nuts and i already have a set of lug nut impact sockets. this set gets used a lot and i've already needed several of the traditional skip sockets that other sets don't include. so far these have saved me a lot of time and frustration and i've only had them for less than a year. to make the set complete for my purposes i got a couple of additional adapters: a 3/8 to 1/2 impact adapter and put it inside a larger socket so i could use a narrow 3/8 ratchet in confined spaces. replaced the shorter extension with a semi-wobble extension from harbor freight because the universal socket adapter is too wide for some applications.
