Finally, a model 3 highland dashboard phone holder that works and blends beautifully with the car aesthetic. The phone stays solidly on the magnet (I have an Android/Pixel phone using the circular magnet insert inside the phone case) and does not wobble and shake (except on very bumpy/harsh roads). The circular magnet does not interfere with wireless charging in my short experience with it. The holder does not block the air vents, meets expectations, and is the only one that has worked for me.

Dies ist bereits meine zweite Halterung mit Installation an den Lüftungsschlitzen im Tesla Model 3 Highland. Das vorherige Produkt war gut, jedoch von den Abmessungen her minimal zu groß, so dass es eine leichte, wenngleich auch unschöne "Biegung" der Lüftung gab. Inklusive Druckstellen.Bei dieser Halterung ist es anders. Hier biegt sich nichts durch und ich habe bisher auch keine Druckstellen gesehen. Auch sitzt diese Halterung nicht bombenfest, sie kann horizontal verschoben werden. Dies brauche ich zwar nicht, ist jedoch eine nette "Funktion", so man hier neu ausrichten möchte. Die Installation geht insgesamt sehr einfach und ohne das Gefühl, etwas dabei kaputt machen zu können.Wichtig zu erwähnen: Der Kugelkopf an welchem die MagSafe-Magnethalterung angebracht wird, ist wohl "Standard". D.h. ich konnte alle meine weiteren Magnethalterungen, insbesondere auch die mit MagSafe-Ladefunktion (!) dort anbringen. So kann man zwei Produkte kombinieren und ich kann jetzt mein Telefon nicht nur gut befestigen, sondern auch während der Fahrt aufladen. Diesbezüglich empfiehlt sich ein längeres USB-C-Kabel, welches man am Sitz nach hinten an den USB-C-Anschluss führt (dieser ist bei mir selten in Benutzung).Insgesamt Kaufempfehlung!

This mount fits nicely in the dash. I found that it was easiest to place the base on the dash and then push the top into the overhang. There is give to the overhang and rubber tab on the mount, so you can lightly apply pressure on both to let it slide in place, without causing damage. Once in place you can carefully slide left or right to position how you want. Due to the curvature of the dash it will not go all of the way to the edge, but it covers a wide range of positions. The plastic ball joint was quite stiff so I suggest pushing it into place before installing on the dash. Even with the nut full disengaged it too some force to pop in the joint. Once installed with the nut tightened, the mount is sturdy and doesn’t have much movement. The magnet is strong enough to hold up my iPhone 15 plus with a case as long as it was properly centered on the metal part of the case. I like the design of this over previous mounts because it doesn’t rely on a suction cup, which eventually deforms with heat cycles and then fails in the middle of important GPS directions causing chaos. I’m als not a fan of clipping a heavy phone to a vent. Unfortunately this design is unique to the structure of a Tesla, so I can’t use it on any of my other vehicles. Overall I highly recommend this mount if you have a Tesla.
