The ankle strap was much too short and only just met with the velcro which resulted in it being too tight and unsatisfactory for walking. My feet and ankles are quite a normal size! I asked my daughter to try them and she said the same.

Good for walking, cycling and sailing. Arrived very quickly as described and better price than elsewhere. Dries very quickly so good for water sports.

I bought these walking sandals to wear on a holiday in the USA where we will be doing alot of walking so I needed something that would allow my feet to breath, is washable but most of all comfortable! This sandal is all of those things and more. the sole cushions and supports my foot beautifully, they are fully adjustable to allow for "hot foot swell", they dry very quickly when they get wet and they are soooo comfy, I haven't even had to "wear them in"!!!For anyone reading the other reviews before you buy....the ankle strap & heel support look a bit wierd when you get your first look at them! They are, however, a very comfortable fit (after the inevitable fine adjustments one has to make with velcro strapped, fully adjustable sandals!) I haven't had any problems with rubbing or blisters.The other thing some people have said is that they pong a bit when your feet get hot. I have not had this problem so far.....Update: I have worn these sandals for all of my 2 week holiday in california and they have been extremely comfortable, even in the heat. They cleaned up well when washed under the shower or in a river and dried really quickly even when still being worn! I must also say I've not had an issue with offensive foot smell during this holiday either. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I walk every day and needed a new pair of sandals with support. I chose the right ones as these are very comfortable from the first time I put them on! Excellent choice, I even did some hiking in them. I also love the color!
