This has brought a lot of fun to our pre-Christmas season. The riddles are pretty hard, but not too hard. Well done!

We've now done 7 days. The first day was a little confusing due to one of the items not beginning with the obvious letter, but it was still quite easy to work out the answer from the main theme of the story.The other days have been more logical, with varying levels of difficulty and time taken to solve. Day 7 was quite hard but we got there in end. The QR codes work fine so we've been able to confirm our answers. It's a fun way to count down the days till Christmas and gets you thinking.

The fact that this is a UK based company matters! The first day answer is frost because the bird is actually a European Robin so it represents the letter is R which looks nothing like our robins here in north america. Still doable but maybe frustrating for kids or people here to figure out. Not the best for north Americans. Other puzzles are extremely easy so far

My family and I have been going through this book this Christmas season, and it’s fun reading a new piece of the story and having a puzzle to solve every day leading up to Christmas.Each scenario has a unique QR code you scan so you can enter your answer and get hints, if needed. We did encounter one puzzle so far that befuddled us and the hints provided didn’t quite get us to the solution, but the book includes an email address where you can reach a nice person who will provide the help you need. I reached out and heard back the same day with the solution and explanation.

Our household loves riddles and puzzles, but this book is so hard. We fought through it for awhile and gave up entirely around Day 12. Way too hard to be any fun. The hints didn’t really help and you have to email to get the answers (which we didn’t even try).
