It includes timeless compositions by the masters (Mozart, Beethoven, Bach among them) as well as such respected pieces as those by Scott Joplin. When grading a classical piano collection for me the most important criteria are the best possible musical pieces, the book themed and correctly graded, large presentation and fingering and this book has them all. Its intermediate but mixed so early pianists can still enjoy some of the selections though challenging, & advanced pianists will find these mostly great. The book is in a large beautiful clean format to read. Its huge - one criticism is a ring spine would have been a far better binding method. And best of all the pieces all have suggested fingering. If you research and click "look inside"for other similar classical collections, very few have fingering which is essential when learning new music. The books fingering is accurate too.. I tested some pieces before reviewing and its been carefully prepared. The songs are mostly great, usually classical pieces that are greatly famous or you will recall hearing. Its a wonderful collection that will keep you busy for months so truly great value for money and five stars is just not enough. Buy with complete confidence.
