The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak (Deluxe Edition)

It's cool

I have been playing the Trails series since Trails in the Sky. After an heptalogy of some sorts, you can just pick Trails through daybreak up and start from there. Combat is probably a bit less tactical so far (about 20 hours in) and writing can feel a bit different (mc is maybe a bit more mature but relationships seem somehow lighter than in previous entries) but this is a totally recognizable Trails game if you are a veteran of the series. As 4,5 stars is not an option, I'll go with 5. I think it is closer to my opinion that giving it just 4.

Haven't finished yet but I'm loving it so far!For jrpg fans it cannot get better than this! (Perhaps YsX which is out late October)I'm a fan of the Ys series and decided to jump into the legend of heroes series - I can already tell I will play the other 10 games eventually xDGraphics are simple, so don't expect a work of art here. The gameplay, combat mechanics, story and character interaction is what you should be here for.Unfortunately there isn't a lot of voice acting...the game would certainly benefit if there was more - specially since the majority of chars have great voice actors.Great game to start jumping into the series. The more you play, the more you understand the world and some of the history behind it, so you won't feel like you NEED to play the other games.
