What a beautiful book. It's full of thoughtful meditations on Norse mythology and handsome illustrations. All three books I've read by Larrington have been top-notch. Highly recommended!

The book deals not only with the general knowledge of elements of Norse mythology, but deals with books, movies, TV series and comics that in recent decades have found inspiration by the old Norse books. This provides a lively background for all those that feel a connection to this world view.

Love everything from Professor Larrington, and this one's no exception. Really interesting to learn about the ways Norse myths are still relevant.
