発送連絡までかなり待ち、無事買えるのかな？と不安でしたが、最終的に到着予定日より早く届きました！包装は簡易でしたが、中身は折れなどなく綺麗な状態で満足です。トールキンの詩にスワンが曲を付けたというあまり知られていない作品（？）と思いますが、旋律の綺麗な曲が多いので、是非多くの人に知って欲しいです！

Erwartet hatte ich eine aktuelle Auflage mit CD, erhalten habe ich eine gut erhaltene Ausgabe aus den 70ger Jahren. Auch wenn keine CD dabei ist, diese Ausgabe ist einfach schön. Es fühlt sich gut an, diese liebevoll gestaltete Ausgabe in der Hand zu halten und darin zu blättern. Das ist sicher nur etwas für Liebhaber, erklären kann man das nicht.

This is a fantastic book and all Tolkien fans need to have a copy. The music itself isn’t exactly to my taste but I highly recommend Donald Swanns rendition of “Bilbos last song” which is found in this edition. It’s moving and a lovely tribut to the professor after his death. The only down side I must mention is that the cd itself comes taped to the back cover and during storage that causes the book to bend around it leaving it warped.
