This latest V.U. Lev X is another excellent resource. The music is so creative and very suitable for intermediate level students. It also provides an engaging storyline reflected uniquely in each piece. I certainly consider it a must-have for both my students and for my own teacher-playing enjoyment.

I love this book series as a piano teacher. It (and the two preceding volumes) have kept some of my students playing piano when their interest in piano is waning. The pieces have the great trait of sounding "hard" while not being that difficult to play. I'd place them at an early intermediate level. The first volume (Cinderella) are in C and a minor, the next (Jack and the Beanstalk) are in G and e minor, and this one has pieces in F and e minor. Flowing, exciting, lyrical -- every student finds something to love.
