I am a GCSE textiles student and do sewing and dressmaking outside of school. I wanted a manikin that I could display my garments on. I wanted a polystyrene one to stick pins in to add shape to my garments. I looked around lots and this was the cheapest one. I was expecting it to very much be basic, but was very pleasantly surprised. It is easy to assemble and looks really good. There is a white cover to go under the black one which is good. Although it is not adjustable it is easy to insert padding and make larger in certain areas. The cover doesn't snag and I think this is a really great item, well worth the price. If you're looking for a simple yet good manikin then definitely buy this one!
