My teen and preteen piano students can’t get enough of these books. The music is dramatic and impressive but extremely playable for students. They love the artwork and storylines too. Recordings are available on YouTube that they can listen to if required.

As a piano teacher, I love this series by Andrea Dow. I have a few students who order every new one that comes out! I love how appealing the pieces sound, but they're very accessible for intermediate students. I also like the way Dow uses a piano teacher's insights when writing these, by utilizing patterns, as well as writing an entire back in 2 related major/minor keys. This gives great practice for kids in those keys. I also like mix of lyrical and dramatic pieces in each book.I have to admit that, even as the teacher, I buy each of these as they come out. They're just pretty and fun to play!

Another wonderful book by Andrea Dow (Teach Piano Today) joins her others inspired by fairy tales. This one is based on Beauty and the Beast, and features the key of D and its relative minor, Bm. A motivating way to get these keys "under the hands" for teens, adults, and pre-teens. Lovely pieces!

The songs are imaginative, the students are (SHHHHH!) learning as they play! All of these books have been a hit in my studio and this one will be no exception. I always buy two copies and gift one to a deserving student. They always greedily dive right in, ready to play the engaging music and play the engaging games (TIME TESTS! SIGHT READING! WHO KNEW THESE WERE GAMES????).Thank you SO MUCH Andrea Dow for making my studio a happy place with all that Wunderkeys has to offer!

Beautiful music! Not only is this book an educational tool, but these songs can be played in a variety of settings. Great songs.
