The Ukulele Songbook: Hymns & Songs of worship

An excellent book, mostly well known hymns with easy tabs. What I really liked is that this book gives instructions for the beginner as well. Albeit briefly, such as how to read chord diagrams, basic chords, strumming & fingerpicking patterns. Surprisingly, it also shows how to tune a uke w/o a tuner, but I think it is far better to use a good quality tuner such as a Peterson or similar strobe tuner.All in all, highly recommended.

I would give 10 STARS if it allowed!!The best thing for me is the large font. Thank you.The selection of music is very nice. I know many songs from the list, which I find is helpful for the melody. The cord chord chart and the strum patterns are very helpful. Now that I can read the sheet music, because of the larger font size, practicing will be far more enjoyable.I picked a song, matched the strum pattern and started playing. I heard it all come together. I'm very excited to learn and play my first song.With great thanks

This has 50 songs! It even has a number of Christmas carols (wish I had purchased before Christmas). The arrangements are simple and they even include ALL the verses. My one issue is that I have yet to find a B minor chord that the arranger has included that I have found to not be totally discordant. I just put in a chord I like better and go with it.

Absolutely one of the best song books out there. I like the fact that this book is intelligently written with an opening song content page, appendix, and with 50 songs, all with full verses, and chords, tabs, etc. The back of the book has listing of "basic chords" which have about 12 chords owe note, including 6ths, 7ths, flats, minors, majors sus4, etc. and about 16 strum patterns, and 29 pick patterns! See my photos.There are lots of traditional Christmas songs, gospel songs, worship songs making a nice medley of material to play and sing to.Someone complained that the second and third verses are listed along side or below the song but this is a minor distraction and once you know the song and chords from the first verses and chorus, it is easy to tackle the next verses. The chords are easy and easy to follow..I'd the other books by this company are this good, I'll be adding more soon.
