Thermal Grizzly are well known for being one of the top contenders for high-end PC building. Their products have always been highly rated by enthusiasts and their Thermal Grizzly is some of the best rated thermal paste in the industry.The Thermal Grizzly AM5 Contact Sealing Frame is primarily used alongside Liquid-Metal based thermal pastes (This paste is liquid at room temperature and can very easily fry your CPU if not applied properly) to ensure that no liquid-metal is able to transfer to the motherboard. However, I have used the sealing frame alongside regular metal-based thermal paste (Thermal Grizzly to be precise!) and it has performed very well.It has helped improve contact of the AIO Cooler pump, and has resulted in a -3c temperature drop at max load compared to a stock CPU mounting bracket. Pretty impressive for a single piece of kit!Very easy to install, and comes with a silicone layer that sits comfortably inside the Sealing Frame to further protect any spillages from spreading past the plate. You can decide not to apply the silicone layer inside, but I would highly recommend it.Overall, very happy with the purchase and the difference it has made. It looks awesome too!

The unusual cutout of the AM5 Ryzen processors can allow heat sink compound to leak out onto the open areas on the chip and this has a rubber gasket that goes underneath it to protect against that happening. It also is a far more stable way to mount the processor to your motherboard. They provide the tools necessary to remove the stock mount and install this in it's place. I would advise you do this before you install the MB into the case. I placed my MB onto a silicone mat to protect the bottom of it and then did the procedure right on my desk. Remember to undo the existing processor mount pressure BEFORE unscrewing it. Then gently place the processor onto the socket, place this over it and and use the screws provided to evenly tighten the contact sealing frame a little bit at a time once you get to the resistance point.BTW, I used Grizzly Duronaut thermal paste, it's excellent. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, then leave the stock mount in place. Hope this helps!
