Thermaltake Commander FP Hub voor PWM-ventilator zwart

In quanto non ci sarà più necessità di far passare le ventole negli appositi fori per il collegamento con la scheda madre.Io ho un NZXT Noctis 450, con 9 ventole PWM (in particolare delle Corsair ML120) e sulla mia scheda madre sono presenti solo 5 fan Header.Il mio case ha effettivamente un HUB per le ventole, ma a 3 pin, il che eliminava parte delle funzionalità delle ventole.Per cui ho deciso di acquistare questo della thermaltake.Sono presenti 10 fan header, va collegato poi alla scheda madre con un singolo cavo ed è alimentato tramite porta SATA.Inutile dire che la gestione dei cavi è nettamente migliore.All'interno vengono inclusi il cavo a 4 pin per il collegamento alla scheda madre, due pezzi di velcro biadesivo per l'installazione, e delle fascette di ritenuta.Installazione semplice e veloce, si potrà poi gestire la velocità di tutte le ventole collegate, direttamente dal BIOS.Verranno viste come un'unica ventole, e tutte gireranno alla stessa velocità (proprio ciò che desideravo).Insomma, per chi ne necessita è davvero un piccolo gadget salvavita.Lo consiglio pienamente.

Like me you’ve probably been reduced to looking at PWM fan hubs for all those case fans you have installed in your computer (even more necessary now that summer is upon us!). You’ve got a few new fans you bought, excited you open up your case to put them all in and BAM you motherboard only has 2, yup 2 system fan headers…I have no idea why motherboard manufacturers have decided that RGB headers on a motherboard are more important than fan headers but low and behold this is the current situation, yes I’m looking at you Gigabyte. In fairness it’s probably because I have one of the mid-range motherboards and not a “premium” one but still cooling is more important than RGB motherboard makers!Anyway…I went off on a bit of a tangent then so if you have the same problem I did with system fan headers then say hello to the Thermaltake FP -10 Commander Port Hub! It’s a 10 port PWM controlled fan hub (yes it’s in the title I know) that allows you to plug 10 system fans, yup you read that right 10 system fans into a single fan header on your motherboard!In the box you get:Thermaltake FP-10 PWM Fan HubPWM Signal CableSATA Power Cable2 x Velcro Sticky pads5 x beaded cable tiesInstalling the Thermaltake FP -10 Commander is quite straight forward. You stick it into your case using the supplied velcro pads, however the velcro on these pads isn’t the best and it does tend to move about if nudged so if you know you won’t be wanting to move it for quite some time it may be worth using double sticky sided adhesive squares or your other preferred method to prevent it going anywhere!Next is to plug the hub into an available SATA connector off your power supply, after all it’ll be nigh on impossible for your motherboard to power 10 fans off a single fan header so don’t forget this step!We then have to plug the PWM signal cable into the hub and then into a system fan header on the motherboard, this is to enable the motherboard to get an RPM reading off the fan hub so it knows there is fan-spin.Finally you plug your fans into the hub making sure that the fan you wish to take the RPM reading from is plugged into the shiny port on the hub otherwise if this is left empty your motherboard won’t get an RPM reading from it. This hub works best if you use fans that all have the same RPM rating as the hub can’t control individual fans it attempts to run all fans connected to it at the PWM/RPM of the fan connected to the shiny fan port.You’ll know if you’ve connected it all up right because a little blue light will illuminate on the hub to tell you that it’s receiving power and when you check your system monitoring software you’ll get an RPM reading on your fans!Pros✅ Fairly inexpensive compared to some PWM hub’s on the market – I paid £12.50 at the time of writing for this hub, bargain!)✅Easy to install!✅Does exactly what is claimed in the description and works well at doing it.✅Plug and play! When it’s all set up it just does its thing, fan speed adjustments are then made in your monitoring software.Cons❌Velcro strips included could be of better quality, but this is a very minor niggle!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Se destinait à distribuer le signal PWM de ma carte mère à 5 autres ventilateurs PWM (tous identiques) pour un réglage propre et uniforme de la ventilation de mon PC. Le signal retour est effectivement remonté par la ligne "coté brillant" comme indiqué sur la notice. Il est obligatoire de brancher un ventilateur sur ce port spécifique auquel cas la vitesse de rotation ne sera pas remontée à la carte mère.Le signal PWM intercepté par le HUB peut ne pas être distribué par les prises 4 pins type sys_fan. Dans mon cas, la carte mère ne renvoie pas le signal de contrôle de vitesse sur la prise sys_fan. Donc le contrôle ne se fait que par la tension.Ce sera seulement via la prise cpu_fan, disposant du "speed control signal" au pin n°4, que ce HUB fonctionnera pour ma part.Vérifiez le manuel de votre carte mère : beaucoup de prises sys_fan 4 broches ne sont que des "voltage mode fan connector" et non des prises PWM.Correctement branché, ce HUB fonctionne parfaitement et s'intègre à merveille. Visuellement sobre et sans superflu.Pour le prix, je recommande ce HUB bien fini.
