It works well, and there is a good connection. I have it connected to my Abode alarm system and can see data from their app. I like that I can also see data on the screen (I don't absolutely need to go to the app like Abode's own sensor). I'm not sure how accurate it is, but there is some temperature difference with other sensors I have in the same greenhouse. Which is accurate or not, I don't know, but close enough for my needs. I bought it on special, but would buy more if they were cheaper...

Zuerst habe ich einen ähnlicher Sensor (Feuchtigkeit und Temperatur mit Display) von Tuya getestet, der sich zwar ins ZigBee-Netzwerk (mit ConBee II und Zigbee2MQTT) einbinden ließ, aber nur auf Knopfdruck die gemessenen Daten übertrug. Danach habe ich zwei Stück eines Sensors von Sonoff getestet, die sich gar nicht erst paaren ließen. Somit hatte ich schon drei Geräte die nur über das Display nutzbar sind sind - hätte ich das gewollt hätte ich gleich günstige ohne Funk kaufen können.Ich zweifelte schon daran dass sich meine Ansprüche technisch überhaupt erfüllen lassen, wurde aber durch eine Rabattaktion verführt dieses Modell zu bestellen und positiv überrascht. Der Sensor von Thirdreality ließ sich problemlos mit Zigbee2MQTT paaren und liefert nun schon seit 2 Wochen zuverlässig Messwerte. Es wird sich zeigen wie sich das Gerät auf lange Sicht verhält aber dem ersten Eindruck nach ist es absolut empfehlen - habe mir auch gleich noch einen zweiten nachgeordert.Ein besonders hervorzuhebendes Merkmal gegenüber den anderen beiden erwähnten Modellen: Trotz nur unwesentlich größerem Gehäuse kommen beim Sensor von Thirdreality anstatt Knopfzellen zwei gewöhnliche AAA-Batterien zum Einsatz.

Like all the other Third Reality products I own, this is easy to link to SmartThings which is most important to me.

I bought several of these while on sale at Christmas. Next to one another they were not all reading exactly the same, but they were within my interest level of accuracy - about a degree or so. I put them out in rooms I was interested in finding out how cold they were - normally I only know what our thermostat tells us. If two devices are in the same room, Alexa will give you the "average" temperature in the space - so my Nest thermostat reads 70' on an interior wall, but this may read 65' on a coffee table next to the couch near the exterior wall. Alexa will say "the average temperature is 67.5 degrees" for example. That is very nice because I like to know that the bedroom stays cooler at night, or the family room is at a comfortable temperature for watching TV.These are Zigbee - I have a Samsung hub. The connection could not be easier! I literally put batteries in and SmartThings found them and configured them. Alexa said "new device found" and I moved them to the proper room. While WiFi devices require special apps and configurations, if your hub is good, this is almost a completely painless step.HOWEVER, Alexa cannot read humidity. "Alexa, what is the humidity in the family room" will return a "that is not yet supported." The SmartThings app is definitely getting the humidity reading. IFTTT is also able to read it from SmartThings. So it is still possible if you have the right smart plugs to turn a humidifier on if it is under 30% humidity or turn on a dehumidifier if it is above 55% humidity. But that isn't as easy in the Amazon ecosystem - just not for the fault of this product - Alexa just doesn't use the humidity readings yet. (My experience is that Alexa often struggles with multi-sensors. Sometimes they work, sometimes they do not.)I did not get these through the Vine program, but I did get a good holiday discount on them. I am very happy with how they are performing. I've only used them for a month so I can't yet say how I feel about the battery life using AAA batteries.
