These sensors are well-made, easy to connect, and have multiple applications. I have several installed around my house, and every day I find a new use case - (1) attach it under the sink and have lights turn on when doing dishes, (2) attach it to the cabinet doors and have lights turn on when cabinet doors are opened, (3) Get notified when washing machine, dryer, dishwasher cycle ends, (4) Get notified when mail box opened/closed, (5) I have a delivery box in my porch, so have one sensor there to get notified when I get a delivery, (6) Turn on the lights when fridge door is opened, (7) Turn on light and turn on my music/podcase when I start the treadmill ... Just unlimited use cases and very affordable.

I use it to identify washing machine cycles and notify me when it's done. Perfect for that purpose since other zigbee based vibration sensors are not as sensitive as this one. I don't use the buzzer/alarm. Somewhat high price point.

I didn't expect much. I've had this sensor for nearly two months and it has worked perfectly. My tumble dryer is in an attached brick shed and I often forget to check it (I don't use it often). It connected without a problem to Home Assistant, through that, it's connected to my Alexa speakers. When my tumble dryer has finished, Alexa gives me a voice announcement and my "alert lights" flash a certain colour (should I have my earbuds in or be in the shower etc) to let me know my dryer has finished. Initially, the routine that I had set up was too sensitive and I had unwelcome "The dryer has finished" notifications. To solve this I changed the automation to the following:The actual sensor is set to the highest sensitivity (I've not tried it on a lower setting). When sensor starts detecting motion for 10 minutes continuously (the 10 minutes prevents false alerts).Wait for a trigger. When sensor stops detecting motion for 30 seconds.Make an Alexa announcement, flash the lights (or whatever is your preference, text alert instead etc). The 30 second timer allows me to retrieve my washing before the "anticrease" cycle kicks in, which can go on for several hours. This is the only item I have from this brand, I'd be happy to buy more of their items from the performance of this sensor. I'm delighted with it and, no more forgotten laundry!

Recomendable

I use it to monitor if my dryer is active or not. it's working great.*) Pairs easily with Smarthings hub version 2015*) It use 2 AA batteries*) Can turn alarm on/off. I do not have a tool to measure the dB of the alarm BUT aware the alarm is not 110dB as mentionned. In my case it is not an issue since I do not use the alarm.*) Good sensitivity (it has 3 sensitivity settings to chose from) to vibration and movement when use on my dryer
