These are old favourites, had them for many years and then tried out others. However, as Walking a marathon decided to retry as other makes not so comfortable. It was like putting slippers on and not a blister. Cool, soft, comfortably thick and not tight around the ankle. Good value and would really recommend.Also initially bought wrong size , return was swift and efficient.

I like these socks a lot, and wear them to run all summer and into the fall (in the winter I wear SmartWool). This was the perfect weight for me. I have much arthritis in my feet and the cushion is important, but Florida weather requires a sock that is not too hot. For my uses, Thorlos are perfect. I DIDN'T expect the cuff to be quite so high so my runner/walker's tan is going to be even MORE bizarre than it usually is.But, since Thorlos only last 15 years or so, I'll be ready for a new pair in - lol. No, I will alternate them with other pairs of Thorlos and the tan line won't show.As for value for the money, you have to consider that they wear like stainless steel and you won't need to replace them any time soon, they cost, literally, pennies per wearing.

They are comfy, with that bit of extra padding! No attention on the feet.
