Instructions are nice and easy for a beginner. If you can't understand it by reading the directions then you are sure to get it by watching the videos. Very nice little kit. The amount of yarn was a bit smaller than I had hoped but that was my bad for not reading description. There should be enough to get 3 dishcloths, one from each color for sure, maybe one more. I'm only half way through my first one though so hard to tell. Nice intro into 4 different patterns.

Why would one want to knit a dishcloth you'd ask. But hey, why not, right, it is creAtive.Adult life is boring, one knits dishcloths to brighten it up.

I am a true beginner. The directions are super easy. When I first started, I complained that making a dishcloth wasn't exciting. The first pattern was super basic and bored me to death. But I kept on, and I learned to make my stitches more even in tension. I started my next dishcloth. It taught me a new stitch pattern. I still was unimpressed with the fact that I was only making a dishcloth. Same for dishcloth #3. By the time I got halfway through dishcloth #4, I realized I had perfected my tension, and I had learned to increase and decrease stitches. Learning is a journey and I am glad I didn't skip the steps. I have ordered a book with simple projects for beginners. I am glad I bought this and would recommend it.
