Coming from a Casio FX-991EX background, I find TI-30X Pro Mathprint to be exceptionally as good. Price of both online is about the same."TI-30X Pro Mathprint" is the updated version which replaces older "TI-30X/S/B" and the "TI-36X Pro". Button layout is the same as the models it replaces but the overall design is far more professional and pleasing, even better than the Casio's. The top 1/3rd of the calculator is a glass screen which looks really good. Persoanlly, I like the look of TI-30x Pro Mathprint to any other scientific calculator I've used.It comes with a hard cover which snaps at the back when calculator is in use. Display has contrast adjustment. Button presses are more tactile than the models it replaces and as good as any good calculator. Mathprint functionality is useful for those who might require it, but if you're trained on or used to the normal calculator functionality (like I am) then that's fine, both funtionalities work equally well.If later on in higher education you're going to use Texas Instruments recommended calculators, such as in the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries (UK) exams or the Chartered Financial Analyst (US) exams, which require certain Texas Instruments models only to be used in their exams, then you're better off starting with this model TI-30X Pro Mathprint at highschool, GSCEs, A-levles, AP, IB, or at University, as Texas Instrument's calculators have the similar button and menu layout, 2nd funtionalities, and other functions. The question which everyone wants to ask: Casio or Texas Instruments? The answer is that if your teacher at high school or university recommends Casio Classwiz then go for that. But if you know you're going to be using Texas Instruments graphing calculators like TI nspire CX-II T CAS for a Maths degree or the Business Analyst TI-BAII Plus/Profesisonal calculator for financial exams later on, then got for this TI-30X Pro Mathprint model as it would help getting used to the button and menu layouts which are similar across Texas Instruments' range. The only different between the best of Casio and Texas Instruments model is aesthetics and layout of menu and buttons. Rest of the display size, lines of display, resolution, speed, and funtionalities etc., are all the same. UK classrooms tend to prefer Casios just like in Asia, whereas in the US classrooms, and especially in the US exams SATs, APs, CLEPs etc., Texas Instruments models are recommended. If you're studying on your own, i.e. home schooling, or you do not have any recommendation made by your teacher as to which calculator to use, I would definitely recommend TI-30X Pro Mathprint for your highschool, A-level, AP, or IB etc., mathematics requirements.

Hoesje heeft een stugge rits. Maar is dan ook het enige nadeel. Heel goede rekenmachine.

great little calculator, easy to use and keys easy to read slightly quicker than the casio fx911ex class whizz on integration, an remembers a lot of past calculations and data even when switched off.
