It's a low price, and it does what its supposed to but I'm returning it since its absolutely not usable for any music listening. Maybe for radio but theres a lot of crackle on any volume at any port the device in the low and hi end of music. Tried it with my phone, and my cd player with line out.

Works perfect. No noise.I use it as an interface in a small music studio with active speakers.Plugged in a Bluetooth receiver and two aux cables, works like a charm.

Now this is interesting. I've been using a miniature mixer for years. It has many functions I don't use however, and so the idea hit me that maybe I could downsize things a bit. Got a nice new lamp that I will review elsewhere - we actually got two for the bedroom already, and we love them, so I got two more for the living room.This little unit is simplicity and needs no power. It has four stereo RCA phono inputs, and a stereo RCA phono output.But the clever bit is there are four volume controls on the top. So, instead of boosting the audio signal, it uses resistance via the volume controls to *limit* audio levels. This is fine because the output goes straight to my graphic equaliser (EQ) which signal boosts anyway, so the raw audio going through the little box is just fine. In effect, previously, I had TWO amplifiers, when I can manage fine with the EQ alone.You might have a similar problem yourself - TV audio, gaming setup, music system audio, maybe even phone or MP3 player - great things to plug into one set of speakers - but the input levels are all skewed. Maybe the TV is blasting, while the music system is low output. This can work nicely to attenuate the big loud signal and "premix" the inputs.Specifically about the unit itself; it's certainly nicely built, very solid, the volume buttons don't feel like they're going to fall off, all ten phono sockets seem nice and strong, and the audio - other than the attenuation discussed earlier - is not affected by the unit (so no buzzing, hums, crackles, or distortion).Of course, if you DO require amplification, you should purchase a powered mixer. BUT! If you simply need to "volume match" up to four several audio sources, it's just perfect. In the image supplied, I've still got it attached temporarily to everything, with my "old mixer" sitting underneath. At least you can see there are three inputs being used and an output that goes to the EQ.I only received it today, I've installed it into my setup, and it's working fine. A very happy customer right here!

Very impressed - good packaging, sturdy quality item for a very reasonable price. I use this to connect a record player, PC and games console to the same set of speakers. Even has little rubber pads on the bottom to stop it moving.No noticeable noise issues for me, though I might not be fussy as others 😀
