Had a leak on an old E60 BMW and this worked great. I cannot believe BMW doesn't use this design. It's likely my coolant went acidic at some point (you can buy testing strips to test this) and this plus heat destroyed the original into a brown crumbling mess that broke into many parts as I took the hose off. Also suggest you only use BMW blue coolant because there are tones of hoses and composite parts that other coolant types will wreck; the more you know!

No leaks after a month, bit of a tight fit so had use a hammer to persuade it.

This did not work, water kept leaking from flange.Used flange to connect to BMW water hose pipe.I had to use a different flange to stop leak.
