The part that goes into the bottle is so hard it won't go in no matter how hard one pushes. I'm planning on cutting the edges off in the hope of an improvement.

Shoddy. The bung broke off on 1st use. I've used other makes in the past with no problems but even when I opened the packet I thought this one felt like poor quality. I'm giving it 1 star because I can't give 0.
