I use this for storing herbs and it does a really good job of eliminating odour. Not so much as a hint of smell in the room where this is kept. It was a bit larger than I expected (thats what she said right lol) but that was my fault for not checking the dimensions properly. Will buy a smaller model soon for when I require more portability.
