This TIG wire feeder works extremely well. As an older guy with large knuckles and mild arthritis, feeding TIG wire with just my fingers has become all but impossible. With this feeder I can feed wire consistently and accurately. Easily adjustable for tension by giving it a slight bend. A very simple, but well designed tool that just works.

Well I went all out and made the $35 purchase. LOL it’s just another gadget for the tool box. I used it a few times , i guess in some circumstances it has a purpose, but when I tried to use it welding in a odd position , didn’t feel right. So I had go back the old way, and feed by hand. I did find it odd that it would not fit the 1/8 filler rod. But it’s a simple fix, you have to take it apart and put it on a bench vice and re-drill the holes with a 11/64 drill bit. Then the 1/8 will fit through, just need to re-adjust the arms so it moves smoothly. All in all it’s not a big expense, considering that everything about Tig welding is so expensive, I say if you can part with the $35 go for it, it will work for some jobs.
