Gone I to my film collection amd watched many times

A nice science fiction story ( if you like that kind of thing ) to take you away from your daily pressures when you arrive home from work and settled down.I have seen it 3 times and I still enjoy it, it gives you an insight to how these Astro'' scientist work,I liked it and it's valued by me as 5 star, merited.

This is one of the few science fiction movies that is the real thing. Written by Carl Sagan it shows what it may be like to make contact with an advanced, alien civilization. The script goes into the political and religious ramifications of contact with an alien civilization which is done well.Of course there had to be some Hollywood touches to spice it up, but these are done well.This was my third viewing of this film and I found new themes in it that I did not catch on the first and second viewings.This is one of maybe 5 science fiction movies that I like, mainly because there are no alien monsters or black clad bad guys with laser swords. Real science fiction as it should be!Beware that a pop up will occur that says: Region Playback Control. This has a column of radio buttons that list various regions of the world where this DVD will play. The button selected is for Western Europe and Japan. The button for U.S.A. will not click on. I continued with the Western Europe format and another pop up said: Refresh rate is not compatible. A button that said automatically adjust refresh rate appeared and I selected that. The DVD then played as it should with Windows Power Media Player, using Windows 10.There is a small box on the back of the DVD container that says: Distributed by Warner Home Video U.K. Limited.
