4,0 van 5 sterren Works, but maxes at 2400 MHz without XMP

I bought a single stick of 16GB to pair with a Dell G5 prebuilt with an i5-10400F that came with only a single stick of RAM. The Timetec module installed as easily as any RAM and the system worked fine. As expected, I saw substantial FPS gains in certain games, from 10-30%+, based on now running in dual channel mode. Shame on Dell and other manufacturers for allowing performance systems to ship crippled with a single DIMM of RAM...
The only issue I've had is that I cannot get this Timetec module to run at full speed. The motherboard in the system is based on the H470 chipset and RAM is limited to 2666 Mhz speeds with the i5 (1333 x 2 for DDR). The Timetec module is recognized as a 2400 Mhz module (1200 Mhz x 2) with the ability to run at 2933 (1467) and 3200 (1600) with XMP and an increase to 1.35v. For some reason, there is no option for a 1333 (2666 Mhz) mode, which means that it defaults to 1200 (2400 Mhz). This somewhat handicaps the DIMM included with the system, as it certainly can do 1333/2666 (it's an odd OEM module that can hit even 1600/3200 without XMP, apparently, though it maxes out at 2666 with this processor/motherboard combo anyway).
Ultimately, this won't completely hobble my PC's performance (there's even a chance that the slower speed/lower latency combo might benefit performance in some instances). Still, if I'd known it wouldn't do 2666, I'd have gotten a different module. Looks like this RAM is good if you've got a z-series chipset and can use XMP, or you're using Ryzen with AMP, though the latency could be better if you're looking for ultimate performance. I can't recommend it for use with any chipset whose top speed of 2666 (apparently) isn't supported.
Note: The Timetec is listed as UNKNOWN in the attached screenshot from HWiNFO64. The OEM stick is the Micron one in the other screenshot.
***Update: to be fair, the product listing does explain that the RAM will default to 2400 speed without XMP enabled, but it seems odd that it's either 2400 without XMP or 2933+ with, and nothing in between. Customer service did reach out to me promptly after my initial review, and they replied quickly when I asked for some clarification. I added a star back.

    Maat: 32GB Kit
After using the DDR4 3200 2x 16GB kit got almost half a year now, I have to say I am very happy with the product. While the bare ram made it look inferior to those “high performance” ram kit which generally comes with some creative looking heat spread, this no frills ram kit don’t perform any worst. In fact, it is so hard to find ram kits that tells you clearly if it’s single or dual ranked, and also the latency timings. So I appreciate the transparency here. Highly recommended due to stability and price.
